How can I book a booth?

  • Review the floor plan for available booths
  • Complete the booking form in Sponsor & Exhibitor Packages, including your booth location preferences, and send to Allison Taylor.
  • Note, booth fees are listed in Australian dollars and must be paid in Australian dollars.  Booths are confirmed on receipt of full payment.

Can visitors not attending the conference visit my booth?

  • Yes! The exhibition is open to visitors free of charge during visitor hours (excludes lunches and cocktail functions).  Lunch and function tickets may be purchased separately for your guests.
  • Email an invitation to your contacts and invite them to attend your booth as a Free Exhibition Visitor, or send an email list to ALTA and we’ll send an invitation on your behalf!
  • Employees of exhibiting organisations are not permitted to register as free visitors.

Where is the conference and exhibition held?

  • The event is held at Pan Pacific Hotel, located at 207 Adelaide Terrace in the Perth CBD, the capital city of Western Australia.

How can I promote my booth?

  • Announce your booth on LinkedIn and Twitter using #ALTA2020Request a custom image or create your own.
  • Promote your participation on your organisation’s website and newsletters.
  • Insert the Exhibitor Button into your email signature, website and social media pages.
  • Email an invitation to your contacts and invite them to attend your booth as a Free Exhibition Visitor, or send an email list to ALTA and we’ll send an invitation on your behalf!

Do I need a Visa?

All non-Australian passport holders will require a visa to enter Australia.

We strongly encourage you to commence the application process no later than eight weeks prior to the conference (by 7 September 2020).  Participants for the event may be eligible for the following visa options:

Letters of Invitation

  • Registration fees must be paid in full before a letter of invitation will be provided.
  • Letters of invitation can be requested by filling in this form (password required – request here).
  • All requests for letter are individually reviewed and suspected fraudulent submissions are forwarded to Australian Immigration.

 

What is included in the booth?

  • Shell Scheme: 3 metres wide x 2 metres deep with 2400mm high walls.  Wall graphics package options available.
  • All Walls: White walls requring double sided tape or velcro for hanging posters.
  • Company Name: In standard format on front fascia via Exhibitor Order Form (options available for additional cost).
  • Light & Power: 2x spotlights and 1x standard power supply.
  • On request, the hotel will provide 1x trestle table and 2x chairs free of charge, however we recommend purchasing booth furniture from the exhibition supplier, Advans.  Refer Exhibitor Tools

What is included with the complimentary delegate registration?

  • Technical sessions (relevant to booking), online access passwords to papers (during the conference) and e-proceedings (after the conference by 31 January).
  • Daily catering, including arrival coffee, morning and afternoon tea and generous hot buffet lunch
  • Welcome Reception and/or Happy Hour (relevant to booking).
  • Wi-Fi, satchel and attendee list.
  • 25th Anniversary Dinner tickets are an an additional cost for all participants.
  • Additional delegates from exhibiting organisations receive discounted rates.

How do I order furniture and AV equipment for my booth?

  • Booth supplies must be ordered directly from the exhibition contractor, Advans.
  • Download the Booth Supplies Catalogue and Exhibitor Order Form from Exhibitor Tools.

How do I book a hotel room?

  • Pan Pacific Perth provides the cheapest rates available for the conference dates through the official online booking site.
  • Book early to to avoid disappointment; bookings cannot be guaranteed after 1 October.
  • No pre-payment required and penalty-free cancellations are accepted until 4pm on the day of arrival.
  • Beware of unauthorised hotel solicitations. The only legitimate booking method is via the official booking portal. No third-party booking service is endorsed by or affiliated with the conference.

Will you provide catering to suit my special dietary requirements?

  • Yes! Please advise your dietary requirements during the registration process.
  • During lunches, tea breaks and cocktail functions, please visit the separate catering station for dietary needs. 25th Anniversary Dinner Guests, please identify yourself to staff.
  • Most dietary requirements can be catered no additional cost, however some charges may apply.
  • Kosher meals must be prepared offsite and delivered daily, and therefore will attract additional charges – a quote will be provided on request.

Do exhibitors have to register to attend?

  • Yes! Exhibitors are required to register online by 31 August.
  • Each booth includes one complimentary delegate registration (sharing is not permitted).  Additional delegates from exhibiting organisations receive discounted rates.
  • Each booth includes one complimentary booth support staff pass (sharing is not permitted).  Additional booth support staff must register at the advertised rate.
  • Booth support staff are not permitted to attend the sessions and do not receive the electronic papers or proceedings.
  • Employees of exhibiting organisations are not permitted to register as free visitors.

How do I get a copy of the proceedings?

  • Papers will be made available to attendees electronically during the conference.
  • Access passwords will be sent to delegates 5 November and activated 7 November May. Refer to the email entitled “ALTA 2020 Access to Papers”. Registration fees must be paid in order to receive passwords.  Sharing passwords is strictly prohibited.
  • Booth support staff and exhibition visitors do not receive the electronic papers or proceedings.
  • The final eBook proceedings will be sent to registered delegates attendees by download link after the conference (by 31 January 2021).
  • If you are unable to attend the conference, the technical proceedings will be available for purchase from Publications.  Contact Allison Taylor to register your early interest.

Is Wi-Fi available at the venue?

  • Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available in the conference venue for ALTA 2020 attendees courtesy of our Wi-Fi sponsor, LANXESS.
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available in the hotel for in-house guests.

What is the dress code?

  • The dress code for the conference sessions and all social functions is business suit or business casual.

Can ALTA help ship my booth materials after the exhibition?

  • Sorry, but we are unable to assist with shipping arrangements.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for their own shipping and customs arrangements for deliveries to the venue and collections after the event.
  • If you need assistance, we recommend Agility, a specialised exhibition and event logistics provider.  Agility is the recommended freight forwarder for ALTA 2020 and can assist with all local, interstate and international transport services to the venue.  Prior to the conference, Agility will contact exhibitors to discuss their specific logistics requirements.  The Transport Quote Request Form is available from Exhibitor Tools.
